ALL BOB'S WOMEN A Musical comedy by Romy Padovano, adapted by Michael W Kelly, directed by Russell Labey Arts Theatre, London. Opened 24th June, 2008. Closed 28th June, 2008 (3 previews, 6 perfs) SYNOPSIS The story of a Casanova figure juggling five girlfriends. Casasanova Bob is a man on a mission: to seduce five very different women and manage to keep them apart so they don't become aware of all his other conquests. And this Lothario is so desperate to score with them all and keep their existence a secret from the others that he resorts to extreme measures to learn their secret desires. This randy cockney Casanova, who calls himself either Bob, Robin, Rob or Roger depending on his latest urge, gets involved with as many women as possible while keeping each one’s existence a secret from the others. If Bob the bounder is not seducing them, he is deceiving them, and when he is not making love he is getting involved with another emotionally vulnerable girl and pretending to be someone he’s not. At times he dresses up in a frock, high heels and a wig to pass himself off as ‘Sue’, their friend and confidante, before whisking the latest conquest back to his love shack.
