Direct from London's Mermaid Theatre, where it won the coveted 'Ivor Novello Award' for the best English musical of the year. Based very closely on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, its story of Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver and pirate's treasure is one of the world's favourite adventure stories. Plenty of scope for an imaginative producer, with rowdy songs and sea-shanties galore. Lots of chorus work, although a limited amount for the ladies.
