The Wind in the Willows
A musical play based on Kenneth Grahame's novel : Book and lyrics by Willis Hall : Music by Denis King
Synopsis
A delightful new dramatisation, with enchanting songs, of Kenneth Grahame's classic tale of riverbank animals - wise old Badger, kindly Rat, gentle Mole and conceited, boastful, bossy Toad, whose crazes for firstly, caravanning and then motor cars, land him in all sorts of trouble and eventually in prison. Toad manages to escape, but not before Toad Hall, his pride and joy, has been overrun by the wicked Weasels. Thanks to the efforts of his kind and concerned friends, however, all ends happily, after an exciting battle to regain Toad's home.
